In celebration of the 91st Academy Awards this weekend, we had a look at the best dressed women within the past decade, from 2009 to the present.

In 2009, Anne Hathaway was nominated for Best Actress for her leading performance in “Rachel Getting Married.” Hathaway dazzled in a beaded gown from Armani Privé.

In 2010, Sandra Bullock won Best Actress for her leading role in “The Blind Side.” Bullock partnered a luminous silvery Marchesa dress with Neil Lane jewelry.

In 2011, Jennifer Lawrence attended her first Oscars for her supporting role in “Winter’s Bone.” Lawrence proved that minimalist didn’t have to be boring, with a red-hot and figure-hugging dress from Calvin Klein.

In 2012, Rooney Mara was nominated for her supporting role in “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” In a stylistic departure from her performance as Lisbeth Salander, Mara stunned audiences in a sheer ivory gown from Givenchy Haute Couture.

In 2013, Jessica Chastain was nominated for her leading performance in “Zero Dark Thirty.” In an ode of Old Hollywood glamour, Chastain arrived in a shimmery copper gown from Armani Privé.

In 2014, Lupita Nyong’o won Best Supporting Actress for her role in “12 Years a Slave.” Nyong’o captivated audiences in a dress from Prada. The custom color, Nairobi blue, paid homage to how the color reminded her of her hometown in Kenya.

In 2015, Jennifer Aniston presented an award at the Oscars. Aniston looked glowy and sun-kissed in a champagne dress from Atelier Versace.

In 2016, Charlize Theron presented an award at the Oscars. Theron updated the classic red dress, but with a twist. She wore a plunging red dress from Dior Haute Couture and jewelry from Harry Winston.

In 2017, Emma Stone won Best Actress for her performance in “La La Land.” Stone kept with the musical theme and wore a fun gold dress from Givenchy Haute Couture and jewelry from Tiffany & Co.

In 2018, Margot Robbie was nominated for her leading performance in “I, Tonya.” Robbie became a brand ambassador for Chanel and wore a dazzling custom dress that reportedly took over 600 hours to make.
